The Directors

Board of Directors

Bbi's board of directors comprises individuals from diverse backgrounds but with a similar vision.

In 'previous lives' a tobacco farmer, a designer, a drama teacher and an engineer, the board now represents over eighty years of collective experience within the 'facilities' industry.

Their shared vision, to become one of the UK's leading facilities support specialists, is based on five foundation stones: Integrity, Innovation, Passion, Confidence and Total Commitment.

Andy Graham

Group Executive Chairman

Founder and Chairman, Andy Graham, commenced trading as Bbi in 1989.

Following service in the Rhodesian army, Andy trained in agriculture and went onto farm in Zimbabwe for a number of years. In 1987 he left Zimbabwe and came to Britain where he spent a number of years working for a Steelcase furniture dealership. In 1989 he formed Bbi and since then has encouraged the growth of the company and developed the management team to deliver its future.

Married with two teenaged children, he enjoys the odd game of golf and is constantly trying to manage the middle age spread.

Steve Lesbirel

Group Managing Director

Steve, a design graduate, has been with the company almost from its inception, involved in establishing Design, Sales and IT Structures. He has responsibility for the strategic development of the company and has been instrumental in the establishment of two regional bases to develop the companies' growth.

Steve is looking forward to the next phase of growth that will re-enforce Bbi as a nationwide facilities support organisation. He has applied his enthusiasm for all things design as an integral part of the work he carries out for Bbi.

Happily married, with a young family he runs a junior football team on the weekends and has run the BUPA Great North Run. His ambition is to score the winning goal for Liverpool at the next FA Cup in the Millennium Stadium.

Adrian Bateman

Group Sales Director

Adrian has many years of experience in the furniture and commercial interiors industry and his knowledge of systems furniture and fit-out have helped PJE to develop their existing portfolio of large corporate clients.

Adrian has managed large projects in excess of a £1,000,000 for Zurich Financial Services; Saga; St James's Place; PHH; Inland Revenue; HM Customs; DEFRA; Magnox and continues to develop ongoing business opportunities.

After work, his next love is his cars. He has ambitious dreams of driving a Lada and is striving to get a good part exchange for his 2CV.

Judith Davies

Chartered Accountant (ACA)
Finance Director

Judith trained as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers before leaving to pursue a career in industry.

She went on to gain broad experience in a number of industry sectors, including the financial services and defence sectors, holding positions in compliance and finance before joining BBI in February 2009 as Finance Director.
